Appearance and Button Function Description The Button schematic: Button Features: 1.Power / Flash Light Function One;Start/ Shutdown In shutdown mode, press the power button for 3 seconds to start the machine, the machine will start to work automatically. When power on pressthe power button for 3 seconds then the machine will save the video file and turn it off automatically. Function Two;Flash Light In standby mode, touch the POWER button to start/close the flash light /or enter into the automatic mode. In automatic mode, the flash light is controlled by the camera light’s brightness and darkness. 2. Photograph / Playback/ Menu /emergency locked Function One;Photograph In standby mode, press the MODE button shortly to enter into the photograph mode,then press the OK button and you can take a picture. Function Two;Playback When power on, press the MODE button twice to enter into the file playback mode. Press the PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN button shortly you can choose the file you need to playback,then press OK and the recorded file will play. If you want to exit press the MODE button. Function Three;Menu Setting In standby mode,,press the MODE button to enter into the main menu for setting.press the PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN button to choose the option you need to set,then press the OK button to confirm. Press the MENU button after setting until it exits the setting menu interface .The setting way is apply to recording mode. Photograph mode .playback mode as well. Function Four;Emergency locked In video mode, if the vehicle is clashed, press the MODE button shortly to start the emergency locked function. Then the time of the accident in the first 10 seconds and after 20 seconds will be saved to a special file, and the file willbe not covered circularly. 3. PAGE UP/ CAMERA SWITCHING Function One;Page Up It is capable of page-up capability in menu Setting and playback mode. Function Two;Camera Switching After joining up the external camera, the bottom of the screen will appear a camera icon which means that it has identified the analog camera, press the PAGE UP button shortly it can switch among the former camera\back camera \PIP and split-screen display four ways. 4. PAGE DOWN /MUTE/MOTION DETECTING Function One;Page Down It is capable of page-down capability in menu Setting and playback mode. Function Two: Close Recording In video mode, press the PAGE DOWN button shortly to close the recording, the bottom right of the screen will appear the forbidden Microphone icon. Press again, it recovers recording and the forbidden icon will disappear. Function Three;Motion Detection In standby mode, press the PAGE DOWN button for a moment to switch to the motion detecting mode. Press the PAGE DOWN button to exit the motion detecting mode when not recording. 5,VIDEO/OK/ DISPLAY BACKLIGHT Function One;Start recording In standby mode, press the VIDEO button shortly to enter into video mode, press again the VIDEO button to stop videoing. Function TWO: OK In standby mode/photograph mode /playback mode, touch the MODE for 3 seconds to enter into the main menu mode, touch the PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN to browse, touch the VIDEO button to make sure your choice. Function Three;Display Backlight. When power on press the VIDEO button for a moment to close the display backlight. Press any button to restore the display backlight.(This operation only works on displaybacklight, does not affect videoing.) 6,RES If the machine crashed, press the RES button shortly to restart the machine. Operation Instruction Installation: 1.Close the car engine. 2.Insert the TF card to the recorder card slot. Warming;Please use the higher class TF card (Class6 above), the capacity of the card is not less than 512 MB and maximum capacity is 64GB. 3.Fixed the recorder in the rearview mirror of the car. 4.Insert the car charger to the car cigarette lighter. 5.Use the car charging extension cord to connect the recorder USB port with the car charger. Warming;The charging extension cord can be run up along the edge of the windscreen. 6.Install the back camera to the rear of the car, pay attention to the direction when installing. Wiring can be run along the vehicle roof. After installation, connect the back camera with the recorder port which set for back camera. 7.Adjust the camera position to make sure the camera keep parallel with the ground. 8.Start the engine and check whether the machine is installed correctly. ;Warming;When the machine is installed correctly, the recorder enter into recording state, please check if the display screen is normal, such as display images of inverted image, please do not hesitate to contact us. Functional Description 1,Automatic Recording Start the car engine, the recorder will start and record automatically, turn off the car engine, the recorder will save recorded contents and turn off automatically .the video file save on the TF card partly. When the TF card is full, it will cover the earlier video file automatically. Warming a. Recorded time can be set in menu settings, you can set1/2/5 minutes duration for videoing. b. The former and back camera video files are saved in folder DCIMA and DCIMB apart in the TF card. Normal folder is for NORMAL, locked folder is for LOCK. 2 Manual Recording Press the POWER button for 3 seconds to start the machine and it will start to video automatically. When power on press the POWER button for 3 seconds again then the machine will save the video file and turn it off automatically. 3. Photograph When power on press the MODE button shortly to enter into the photograph mode,then the video icon will transform into the camera icon. Press the OK button and you can take a picture .Press the MODE button twice you can video again. 4. Motion Detection In standby mode, press the PAGE DOWN button for a moment to switch to the motion detecting mode. When the camera would not feel the object moving for 5 seconds, the system will stop videoing. If you wantto exit the motion detecting mode when not recording, press the PAGE DOWN button for 3 seconds. . Warming This setting will not be saved, it will restore to the video mode next time you start. 5. Collision Induction In video mode, if it takes place the vehicle collision, short press the menu button to start the emergency locked function. Then the time of the accident in the first 10 seconds and after 20 seconds will be saved to a special file, and the file will not be covered circularly. G–sensor is built in the machine. If it takes place the serious vehicle collision the recorder will save the video of the accident in the first 10 seconds and after 20 seconds to a special file and the file will not covered circularly. At the same time the bottom left of the screen will appear the locked icon. Warming 1.The locked video file was begun with ZW and the common file was begun with AW. 2.G-sensor can support sensitivity adjustment; you can set your option according to your actual needs. 6. Locked The machine have the locked function, you can lock the video file you need to keep without be covered circularly .In video mode, press the MODE button the recorder will lock the video of the time in the first 10 seconds and after 20 seconds. 7.Date and Time Setting In standby mode, press the MODE button to enter into the system menu for setting. Settings menu short according to turn down/set the cursor movement to date options short press OK key to confirm, enter the Settings menu settings. Warming In order to record the date and time of the safety accident of forensics effectively, please set the correct time before using this machine. 8. MUTE In video mode, press the MUTE button to close the recording when videoing and the bottom left of the screen will appear the forbidden Microphone icon. At this time the recorder is just videoing without recording Press again, it recovers recording and the forbidden icon will disappear. 9,USB Flash DiskUse the data cable to connect the recorder to the computer USB then the screen will appear three Modes that are Disk,Camera and Charging. Press the PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN button to choose disk options, press the OK button to enter into USB mode. Warming When using computer to copy video file, it is recommended to use card reader to copy. 10. Video File Playback When power on, press the MODE button twice to enter into the file playback mode. Press the PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN button shortly you can choose the file you need to playback, then press OK and the recorded file will play. If you want to exit press the MODE button again. 11. Reversing Visual Firstly, it is necessary to connect the car charger with the recorder then connect the RVB of back drawing camera with the car light. When connect the car charger with the recorder, the machine will start videoing automatically. In any state switch R gears the screen will switch to the rearview mirror automatically and shows reverse images .after reversing visual machine automatically. It will return to video mode after backing up. Warming;Backing up in the photo mode, it will return to photo mode automatically after backing up. Operation Instructions 1.Power ON/OFF button: Power on/off the DVR: Keep pressing 3 seconds to power on/off the DVR, it will enter into the recording mode automatically. Photo/Replay(Modes switch)/Menu/Emergent lock button: Photo function: In the standby mode, slightly press this button to enter into the photo mode, press OK button to take photos. Replay function: In the standby mode, press this button twice to enter into the mode of replay. Press UP/Down button the scan the files which you have recorded and press OK button to choose open the file or pause. Press Modes switch button to exit this mode. Menu function: In the standby mode, keep pressing this button for 3 seconds to enter into the Menu settings, press UP/Down to choose setting your DVR accordingly: you will see Resolution, White balance, Exposure, Color, Time stamp, Language option, Frequency, LED light, Keypad tone, Format, System info, Reset to Default, press OK to enter in, press Menu to exit the settings. Emergent lock function: In the video mode, when the Car is in emergent situations, slightly press this button, the DVR will save the video file which is started from 10 seconds before the accidents and ended 20 seconds after the accidents and will not be covered by circle recording. 3. UP/Lens switch button: Page Up function: when in the mode of Menu or Replay, press this button to scan up sub- menu or video files accordingly. Lens Switch function: When the back lens had been plugged into the DVR, the LCD screen will appear a icon which shows it has been well connected. Press this button to switch screen display as below: 1, Front lens, 2, Back lens, 3, Picture in picture, 4, Split screen. 4. Down/MIC/Motion detect button: Page Down function: when in the mode of Menu or Replay, press this button to scan down sub- menu or video files accordingly. One press to record voice: In the video mode, press this button to choose whether to record with voice or not, also the LCD screen will appear the icon of voice accordingly. Motion detect function: In the standby mode, keep pressing this button for 3 seconds to turn on the motion detect function, keep pressing 3 seconds to turn off this function, the LCD will show icon on the top left corner which means you was in the motion detect mode. 5. Record/OK/LCD back light ON/OFF button: Press to record: In the stand by mode, press this button to record videos or take photos, press again the button to stop the recording and the video file will be saved. OK function: In the mode of Menu/Replay, press this button to choose OK. Back light ON/OFF: Keep pressing 3 seconds to turn off the backlight, then press any buttons to turn on the backlight. 6. Reset button: Choose to restart the DVR when it is crashed. 7. Time&Date update function: When the DVR is in the video mode, press Menu button to find the System Menu, press Down/Up button to select “Time Set”, press OK/Emergent button to choose OK, press Menu button to set Year, Month, Date, Hour, Min, Sec; press Down/Up to set correct time&date; press OK/Emergent button to save, also it will back to the video standby mode. 8. Circle recording and seamless recording function: In the Menu mode, find out circle recording then choose 1 min, 2mins, 5mins as each video time or Close the circle recording. The circle recording support seamless recording function. 9. Low battery warning: When the DVR detected the low battery, the LCD screen will appear icon of low battery, the DVR will be powered off within 6-13 seconds and the file will be saved automatically. 10.U Disk/Webcam/Charging mode: When the DVR had been plugged into the PC by USB cable, the DVR screen will appear 3 option for your choice, press Down/Up button to choose which mode you want to enter into. After choosing well, the LCD of DVR will appear icons of U Disk/ Webcam/ Charging respectively. 11. G-Sensor function: The G-Sensor function can measure the gravitational acceleration of DVR, sense the vibration between cars when they are crashing. Meanwhile, the DVR will save the video file which is started from 10 seconds before the accidents and ended 20 seconds after the accidents and will not be covered by circle recording. 12. About the TF card: when you connect the TF card to the PC, you will see below folders: DCIMA: the videos recording by front lens; DCIMB: the videos recording by back lens; Normal: normal videos recording during the driving; Lock: videos record by pressing Emergent lock button or G-sensor function.
